WMMOA members Holly and Gary Swartz recently visited Egypt and Jordan through the Montana World Affairs Council and shared their travel memories at the WMMOA March Social Hour gathering. Ambassador Mark Johnson and his wife Sally Cummings were the tour leaders, making four WMMOA members on the small group tour. Egypt is a country with a 5,000-year history comprised of remarkable accomplishments and some recent challenges. Gary and Holly found that there is so much more to Egypt than the pyramids. Cruising the Nile River, meeting an Egyptian family, seeing the monuments and learning the history made for an exceptional two weeks. Follow-on travel to Jordan for a week to see Petra and other iconic sights made this a trip of a lifetime. By virtue of our worldwide service, every WMMOA member has a story to share. Come join us.
