Dr. Strangelove; Or How I Learned To Stop Worrying and Love The Bomb
A great group of members and friends gathered for the much anticipated private showing of the classic Cold War Comedy Dr Strangelove. After months of planning and coordination with the Roxy Theatre and staff, movie day finally arrived. With appetizers and no-host bar and the big screen with 35MM projection what more could one wish for. We nearly filled the theater and from the looks of it everyone had a great time. Kudos to those who wore their “Cold War Attire’ (and could still fit into it, more or less). The best dressed award goes to Dale Stovall in his CH-53 Sqn “Party Suit”. Rumor has it he may have been wearing 4 layers of compression fabric underneath. Special thanks to Tammy and Cora from the Roxy for all the work to help make this a great event; and Cindy Babon, Steve and Sherry Rossiter and Gary and Holly Swartz for the planning, coordination and the “chow”. This was so much fun, we may just do this again sometime.
